If elected president, will you publicly declare your assets and disclose your significant business interests and beneficial ownership?
I have never shied away from declaring my assets. I believe in accountable leadership, and I am never one to be found wanting when it comes to probity.
Why has your name appeared in US corruption investigations and what exactly was your relationship with former US congressman, William Jefferson?
The unfortunate case with Congressman Jefferson was a case of mere name dropping. At that time becasue of the focus of our administration to expand the private sector, and given my role at

Can you account for the major assets privatised under your supervision, including who bought them, what the price was, and how their prices were determined?
Of course. There was a government bureaucracy that was responsible for all the documentation and assessment of all transactions. That government department is the Bureau of Public Enterprises. Our administration created that department and it is still relevant till the present time.
If elected, which government assets would you privatize-including NNPCL, refineries, or power assets?
I have always maintained that Nigeria has to open up government control in certain aspects of our power transmission infrastructure to the private sector in order to achieve the objective of uninterrupted power supply. I am also committed to the policy of promoting production of refined petrol and petroleum products locally in Nigeria. I believe that our national refineries

It is another attempt to perpetrate illegality by the Federal Government. The government must be cautioned to act strictly within the provisions of the Pension Reform Act of 2014 (PRA 2014), along with the revised Regulation on Investment of Pension Assets issued by the National Pension Commission (PenCom). In particular, the Federal Government must not act contrary to the provisions of the extant Regulation on investment limits to wit: Pension Funds can invest no more than 5% of total pension funds’ assets in infrastructure investments. I note that as of December 2023, total pension funds assets were approximately N18 Trillion, of which 75% of these are investments in FGN Securities.
There is NO free Pension Funds thst is more than 5% of the total value of the nation's pension fund for Mr. Edun to fiddle with.
There are no easy ways for Mr. Edun to address the challenges of funding infrastructure development in Nigeria. He can’t cut corners. He must introduce the necessary reforms to restore investor confidence in the Nigerian economy and to leverage private resources, skills, and technology. -AA

Again, Bola, you told Nigerians that salaries and pensions are being paid “on time and in full.” Tell that to the military pensioners who protested over unpaid adjustments. Tell it to federal workers who have reported delayed salaries, wage awards and promotion arrears. A pensioner standing outside a government office to demand what is owed does not need a lecture about prosperity. Pay the outstanding entitlements, publish what remains unpaid, and stop claiming that everyone has been paid in full.
A growing government account is not a recovering Nigerian. A speech about prosperity is not prosperity. Show Nigerians where the savings went. Show them the relief. Or stop calling their pain a cure.
Our independence also demands political freedom. Nigerians must be free to question their leaders, organise peacefully and demand change. Public office belongs to the people. No President owns the voices of citizens.

● Introduce tax reductions or credits for MSMEs based on the number of employees they hire and retain ● Provide temporary tax relief for startups and small businesses in their early years of operation ● Offer payroll tax incentives for businesses that expand their workforce
2. Encourage formalization without punishment. We will bring informal businesses into the formal economy by making it beneficial, not burdensome. ● Provide tax amnesty or grace periods for informal businesses that register ● Link tax compliance to access to government support, financing, and incentives ● Ensure that newly formalized businesses are not immediately overburdened with taxes and returns
The ADC will:
1. Build a globally competitive digital economy. We will move beyond infrastructure to fully unlock Nigeria's digital potential, positioning Nigeria as a leader in fintech innovation, and future technologies, while creating jobs and expanding opportunities for Nigerians.
