Why did the opposition coalition with Obi and Kwankwaso fail?
The idea of the opposition coalition was conceived to bring together political leaders who shared concerns about having a united front to challenge the Tinubu administration.
Peter Obi was part and parcel of the initial meetings of the coalition, up to the point that we both adopted the African Democratic Congress as a common platform.
I remain committed to the principles that brought us together: addressing the challenges facing Nigerians, making life more affordable, creating opportunities, and ending the hardship that millions of our people are experiencing. I also believe in the urgency of building a united opposition capable of providing a credible alternative to the Tinubu administration.
