What is your plan for Nigeria's borders?
I will open our borders and make sure modern technology is used so that trade movements along them do not carry the vectors of insecurity. Border protection determines how effective our national security safeguards and trans-national trade are, so I bring extensive professional competence to this area. I will also strengthen international trade and security agreements with neighbouring countries so that the movement of people and trade into Nigeria follows our set priorities and causes minimal harm.

Border protection is one area where I have extensive professional competence. The level of protection and access through our national borderline determine the effectiveness of our national security safeguards and trans-national trade. So, I am going to open our borders and make sure that modern technology is adapted to make sure that trade movements along our borders do not carry the vectors of insecurity. I will also ensure that we strengthen international trade and security agreements with neighbouring countries in order to ensure that the movements of people and trade into Nigeria conform with our set priority and cause minimal harm to Nigeria.
