How will you ensure ordinary Nigerians are as protected as oil and gas assets?
I believe securing the lives and property of Nigerians is just as important as securing our national oil and gas assets. I am not comfortable with a situation where huge sums go into protecting oil assets while the people who power our economy are left behind. My approach is to strengthen law enforcement through manpower recruitment and the deployment of advanced technology, so we can deal with all dimensions of criminality.

Securing our national oil and gas asset is as pivotal as securing the lives and property of Nigerians. I am not comfortable with a situation where government commits tens of trillion of Naira to the security of oil assets while the lives of Nigerians, which is the powerbase of productivity in our economy is left behind. So, my approach will be under the broad objective of enhancing our national security protocols by strengthening our law enforcement through manpower recruitment and advanced technology deployment to deal with all dimensions of criminality.
