Question: Do you support Nigeria’s blasphemy laws and should anyone ever be punished or killed for alleged blasphemy?
Answer: The essence of the law is to provide broad protection to the fundamental rights to life and human dignity. In both civil law and religious laws, the protection of human life is non-negotiable. So, I believe that the law should provide that basic protection to life and the dignity of man.
