Ask Atiku Abubakar — Official Citizen Engagement Platform

How will you fix UBEC and basic education funding?

I will reform the Universal Basic Education Commission so it focuses on students, not fund administration. I will simplify how states access UBEC funds while enforcing strict accountability and reporting standards. I will also digitize UBEC processes so fund disbursement, school performance and project implementation can be tracked in real time.
