Ask Atiku Abubakar — Official Citizen Engagement Platform

Good evening your excellency sir. Thank you for the effects and we pray that God will give you victory this time around in Jesus name sir. I want to ask about your plans for Nigeria civil servant. You're founder of PDP and workers achieved a lot during the administration of PDP be it state, federal

On civil servants and workers who are suffering, I see you, the civil servants who have not received your full entitlements, the traders whose goods no one can afford to buy, the factory workers whose employers are closing shop, the teachers and medical personnel holding together systems that are not adequately funded. Your suffering is real, and it is documented. I believe you did not cause this crisis, and you did not vote for impoverishment. You voted for hope.

I am determined to lead in a way that spends this nation's resources on your welfare, not on opaque mega-projects that serve the well-connected. I will measure success by your living standards, not by the size of government spending, the growth of debt, or the breadth of patronage networks. The resources exist. The talent exists. What is needed is the will to govern for all Nigerians rather than for the few, and that is the kind of leadership I intend to give you.
