Ask Atiku Abubakar — Official Citizen Engagement Platform

How will you make communities safe for IDPs to return home and rebuild their lives?

I understand how long you've waited. First, security forces will clear and secure your region, setting up permanent Forward Operating Bases and civil protection posts before organized resettlement begins. Once that groundwork is laid, returning families will receive rebuilding grants, basic household assets, starter seeds and tools, micro-loans, and immediate restoration of basic health centers and schools. My goal is simple: secure your community first, then give you what you need to rebuild your home, farm, and children's education.
