Ask Atiku Abubakar — Official Citizen Engagement Platform

Why do doctors keep leaving the country, and what will you do to keep them here?

To stop health workers from leaving, I will raise pay structures in the health sector, waive tariffs on imported medical equipment, improve workplace safety, and fund medical research grants. This is how we make it worthwhile for our doctors and health professionals to stay and build their careers here at home.
