What is your plan to make Nigeria food secure?
I will make food security a national security priority, because a nation that cannot feed itself is a nation at risk. I will put it on the National Security Council agenda and align federal, state and local strategies under one national framework. We will build and maintain national and regional food reserves, with rapid response systems for food shocks and price swings. I will also strengthen the links between farmers, processors and markets, improve rural-urban transport, and support local processing.
