How will you fix the shortage of police officers in Nigeria?
I will increase the number of police officers nationwide so we meet the international standard of one officer for every 450 citizens, strengthening community safety and response capacity. This means launching a phased national recruitment and training programme to expand police numbers at the federal, state and local levels. I am determined to see this through at every level of government.
